The Snack Wraps series represents both food preservation and honoring our ancestors. Inspired by my mother's cooking and Buddhist beliefs, these sculptures pay tribute to Thailand's cuisine and spirit-worshiping practices. The relic-like sculptures are modeled after known Thai dishes. The shapes and patterns of the sculptures also reference ancient Thai clothing, hairstyles, and decorative motifs.

I imagined a future where the environment is near-uninhabitable, making it difficult to find natural resources for traditional Thai dishes. In this fictional realm, easily portable food that is less prone to spoilage is essential. People have to adapt by creating food reserves that last longer, incorporating more waste materials as ingredients. Traditional ways of wrapping food become challenging as banana leaves, a common choice, become rare. Due to the scarcity of natural ingredients, these dishes double as spiritual relics to honor ancestors. Through this desolation, Thai people adapted to find new ways to preserve their way of life.
